It’s been a while since I’ve updated my blog. I haven’t spent much time in the kitchen due to my work schedule and loss of appetite but I made some pancakes today.
I am a big fan of textures and colours and these pancakes delivered a full sensory experience.
Madagascan vanilla extract
handful of blueberries
a few flaked almonds
1 small banana
Almond butter (Aldi has the best almond butter)
2 blocks of milk chocolate
a drizzle of honey to serve
I whisked the egg and sugar first, then added the rest of the ingredients until the mixture was smooth. I don’t use measurements I just go by consistency.
I then warmed my non-stick pan on a low-medium heat. I spooned in 2 tablespoons of pancake batter and flipped after about a minute.
